Also have you tried putting some ground up beef lamb etc into the organ meal to entice them to eat more? Sometimes adding a little bit of their favorite meat into the organ mix will get them to eat more and then you can slowly take out that meat and just feed them the organs. Will try adding in some beef mince to their next organ/heart meals and see how it goes. how much should I start off adding in?

Organ mix is 1/2 liver 1/2 mixed pancreas testicle spleen and kidney. Poussin is our equivalent to your cornish game hen. Is it a whole bird with organs, heart head all of that? Or is it a gutted bird with just bones and meat?

No, fuzzy is separated at the moment with a strict rest and recoup from vet due to leg injury as the other 2 play rather roughly and bounce about all over him in the cage.

Okay for organs. Since Pepsi and nippy eat together totaling 8 ounces. You could substitute 2 or 3 oz of the organs with a mince. So put the organs through the blender add the mince in the blender and make sure it's all nice and even and see if they will eat it. If they do gradually start taking the mince away and replacing it with organ Fury since he only eats 3 ounces take one ounce away of organ and add an ounce of mince. See if that helps.

Your are already off to a great start! (dance) I'll let Morgan comment on the details. Are they accepting and eating everything on the menu? What about the bones, how much of the bones do they eat vs leave behind for each of the different bone-in options you have?

Gutted just meat and bones So since the poussin is the equivalent of the Cornish game hen we would prefer to feed it no more than 3 times a week. It's been found that these birds aren't completely mature, leaving the bones softer and less nutrient dense like an adult bird.

What about the bones, how much of the bones do they eat vs leave behind for each of the different bone-in options you have? They'll eat everything on the menu barring organs and sometimes heart. The breeder fed them a mix of kibble and whole prey so we've not had many problems when it comes to accepting the different proteins etc If theres any bones left from a meal its usually from pork ribs if ive not smashed them enough and missed a small section. Other than that they eat all the bone from their meals.

So poops look kind of soft on organs and heart? That's pretty normal. Other than that poops are good on all other proteins?
