I went to clean litter boxes as I always do and found this. There was no poop where the blood was. Just this and some bright colored blood. I don't know what it is or what fuzzy it came from. Everyone is acting normal. Eating, drinking, wanting to play. I'm kinda in panic mode.

I'd go to a vet now.

Don't panic. That amount of blood, is not dangerous short term. Red blood is less concerning than digested dark blood. How much is not pictured? Check their bums for prolapses. , rectal tissue extending outside. Have you seen any loose poops/diarrhea? It's always safest to get to a vet. If the bleeding is serious, emergency vet. Are the blobs some foreign material your fert might have eaten?

I'd take that sample to the vet. I'm a 'rather be safe than sorry' kind of person. :/

Are the blobs some foreign material your fert might have eaten? About the size of a quarter maybe. I don't see blood on anyone, or any where else in the cage. They are caged when I'm not home and I had running to do. I cleaned the box before I left about 4 hours ago. Poop looked fine. When I came back and went to clean it again there it was. So as far as foreign material not that I know of. Whatever it is, is soft enough to smosh with very little pressure.

I have checked everyone's fuzzy backside and no signs of blood or prolapsed anything. Their poo has been normal. Even this morning it was normal. However one of my fuzzies did have a prolapsed bottom. Scared me half to death. It happened about three days after I got him. But that was over a year ago. I don't know if I should rush them to the vet or wait until they go again to try and see who it was..

Do you feed whole prey? Could it be food that they stashed into the litter box? Some whole prey is bloody...

you can isolate one at a time to find out which one is doing it. but do it now so you don't have to wait thru the weekend for the vet to be open.

They like to chase each other around and try and steal the rat from each other. The litter box makes a good shelter while eating it, and sometimes some organs are dropped in it.

Mine love putting food in the litter box. That's why I thought of it. Pretty much stashing in the litter box they think is full proof lol
