Yes, these are good freeze dried ingredients. This product contains all the essentials. Keep in mind you will also need 2 other proteins if you aim for this to be an entire diet for your ferret(s).

You'll want to know how much of that food is heart, liver, etc. or at least if they indicate it is balanced for a cat's nutritional needs.

I was thinking I would give this as a dry food during the day when I am not home for them along with raw at night if I can get them to make the switch over =) . Is that too much. I want the best for my little nuggets! =) So far only Callisto is taking to the raw from what I can see =( Artemis doesn't really want anything to do with it . What product are you using, and is this a meal or a treat. I don't see any bone in there, which they would need as a meal.

Vital Essentials Beef/ chicken / turkey Entree Nibblets Freeze-Dried . I would use this as a dry food through the day . . I don't know how long to keep raw food in the cage with them is my biggest issue. When I can get them to fully raw do I completely stop giving dry??

The general idea is 12 hours in the cage for raw. The ferrets won't eat anything "off" or bad for them though. Yes, when they are accepting raw in any form, stop giving them dry foods <3

A majority of freeze dried raw does require rehydrating as well. Vital Essentials in particular does not necessarily require rehydrating, they state it can be fed as is, but it may help to try it rehydrated and see how they go. If they can take it rehydrated, that will help you a lot in the long run.

I'm watching my girls eat as much as I can before bed and the one isn't touching anything I give her where the other jumps in like there is no tomorrow:/ I don't know if she's eating which is making me nervous:/
