so, I notice for the mentoring program, I have to weigh the darling fuzzbutt. The question is; how do I weigh such a wriggle butt? He doesn't sit still for more than five seconds.

I have them stand on a kitchen scale and give them some salmon oil. They know if they step even a foot off the scale the treat stops so they stay still on it. My girls have even gotten to the point where they will stand still on it all on their own! My boy Ziggy is bigger and it is a bit more difficult for him to balance on the small surface, so I usually put a plastic sandwich/tupperware container on the scale first and tare it so it reads 0.00 before I put him on. The lips of the container help keep him "contained".

Hi! this might be a ridiculous question, but I'm not really acquainted with kitchen stuff like this. what kind of scale is the one pictured here? the ones I'm finding online & looking at their measurements are really tiny. this looks like a great size.

I am seriously impressed that you get them to stand on the scale. I find it easiest after after they collapse after hard play.
