Sorry for not getting back sooner! We are in the middle of renos and things have been rather hectic around here. Your menu looks great! How is Pocky doing? I've tried to get some of my ferrets to like FDR for years with no luck. I wouldn't recommend the "scruff 'n stuff" method as I find it often does more harm than good and makes ferret averse to the food in the future. In regards to your intact ferrets - I highly recommend starting a new thread for that as we have many members here who are experienced in that area.

Pocky is doing better! I've given her small amounts of pumpkin with probiotics for the last few days (one spoonful once a day, then once every other day that started yesterday). She's been way more energetic and back to playing, appetite is back and her poop is back to solid! I generally only scruff Booker because he would rather starve for 3-4 days before he tries anything new, so it's the lesser of two evils. He won't even touch his favorites if they smell different. I was just hoping to get him to realize the fdr was duck and maybe increase their protein variety (also has goose and turkey). Sounds good, will do. I plan to do a 3 week update on Monday for Koi's implant, but she's looking much better!

So since my menu is looking better, do you think I'd be able to graduate from the mentoring?

Absolutely, as long as you feel confident with everything! Please post your current menu for final review, and I will post a final exam for you either later today or tomorrow morning

Final Exam: 1. What is the main important nutrient found in heart? Is this vitamin fat soluble or water soluble? 2. What vitamin is found in Liver? Is this vitamin fat soluble or water soluble? 3. Give 2 examples each of muscle meat, edible bones, and organs. 4. Are leaner meats better for your ferret or fattier meats? 5. How many bone-in meals should a ferret get each week? 6. How many muscle meat meals should a ferret get in one week? 7. Which protein(s) are common allergens in ferrets? 8. How can you tell if your ferret is getting too much or too little bone? Good luck
