So. My cat yet again fell off of her food and water perch while jumping up and dumped her water and food everywhere. There's no better place for it, and it really shouldn't be that hard for her to jump up... Any suggestions? I'm going to be reorganizing my room tomorrow so I might find a better place, but I don't see it happening.
She's the type of cat who puts her paws on the edge of her water bowl and will dump it accidentally if she doesn't already feel "perched". So it has to stay up high.

What if you created a larger platform? My senior kitty (22 yrs) eats in a chair rather than any of the platforms because he's just can't jump up very high any more ciao

Or a box half as tall as the perch she can use as a step..

I've been trying your option, unclejoe, and it worked for about a week and she started dumping again. Its like she's being overconfident and not planting her feet before jumping. Miracle's only 9, so she should still have enough agility to jump up. I put her stuff on a bench, let's see if that'll work...
