With pork, I feed mine pork buttons all the time as a bone in meat. My crowd really likes the porks. When I was switching them, I had Honey throw up pork chunks a couple of times so I got really worried it was a protein sensitivity, but upon closer inspection it turned out she just liked it too much and ate it too fast without any chewing Necks: I found that chicken necks they can take pretty well. Duck and rabbit are a bit thicker so i either cut them in half lengthwise (when I'm feeling very strong and up to cutting through bones), or give them a couple of hits with a hammer. Turkey necks are really tough, they are a great cheap meat, but you have to smash those bones for them to be able to access them. Then they are able to actually get to the bones to chew and eat them. I think that once you find the quail and the rabbit the menu will be a bit better balanced with the variety, but otherwise it seems great. Building a menu is a very fluid process, each week things change with what meats you can buy. Sometimes you will get a chicken heavy menu, sometimes it will have more of something else. If you can find a different meat that you don't have planned, don't hesitate to include it. You can also include fish as a muscle meal once in a while. The more variety the more nutrients your ferrets will get.
