I hope the antibiotics clear it up. The Petco in Port Orange (near DAytona) has a decent manager, at least. When we adopted Pandora, along with Yoshi and Abita, he was so happy to see her go after 7 months that he offered us $30 in merchandise credit to go with her. He said he couldn't discount ferrets, but he wanted to do something for us. 7 months, really? I thought Petco only kept their kits for three months before trading them in or w/e they do with them once they get too old. I remembered my first ferret was on sale for $75, no idea how old he was but that was the cheapest I ever seen them sell for. Nowadays I see them for around $160.

I actually have two ferrets at my parents house named Daisy and Rascal. We all shared responsibility for them. When my sister brought Rascal home, the first thing my mom said was, "What is that rat?" Now she loves them so much. I once asked about taking them with me and she will hear nothing of the sort. They have become my parents babies. As my father says, "they are treated like gold" I would say that the ferrets rule the house. Rascal is actually deaf. He is a blaze and we got him from Petco for 7 dollars. The ferret were already on sale and since he was deaf, they basically put him on clearance. I have heard that if ferrets have been there a long time, they can discount them. I also know this because a manager offered me a discount on one of the ferrets that had been there a long time, but I was not looking at getting a ferret at the time. I dont know if that is the case at every Petco. I plan to go visit my babies a few times this week since I live nearby. This some pictures of Daisy and Rascal.

The petco near where I live. I personally know most of the employees there and they use the vet that I have worked at for 6 yrs. They treat them well and will let you visit and call with updates. They even called me once when they had some one return 2 rats and a huge cage. They could have just resold them (Noone would have know and the cage too) but I stead they called me and gave me them and everything cause they knew I would give them a pet home. The cage was 100$ alone without all the supplies, carriers and food they came with. But they Immediately thought of me and called my cell (which is on file there incase they have ferrets that aren't sellable) I take them and help them. Maybe it's just me cause I know them all well but I've never had a issue with most of the employees sometimes I do have to correct there advice though.

Went and visited them today! They are both doing great! Meelo had some mucus drainage, so it means the cold is getting better. He wasn't sneezing anymore. I did talk to the manager who sold the ferrets and she thinks she may have gotten them sick or they got her sick. She was out for a couple of days with a cold and just came back today. There was one other ferret at the store who was sick and was also getting treatment. But it was so good to see them and they should be coming home on Monday. The little girl is still not showing symptoms so yay! All of our new ferret supplies will be in by then, so when they come home they will have a bunch of new toys to play with.

Just picked up the little fuzz balls. Meelo has much more energy now. He finished his treatment yesterday and the vet gave him the all clear today, so we went and got them. Excited to get them home!

That's wonderful. I'm so glad to hear that they are happy and healthy. The pictures of Daisy and Rascal are so cute. Now we need one of Meelo, pretty please. I'd love to have a blaze. They are gorgeous.

He would not stay still. Out of 20 photos I took, this is the only non blurry one. I will try and take a better one later.

Yeah Meelo is definitely a chick magnet. The ladies at the doctors office were "awwwwing" about him. When we went to get them, the girl that checked us out was sad about us taking Meelo. She saw which ferrets we were taking, and says "Awww the one with the black nose was my favorite."
