Aww, don't feel mad at poor Goober. He's probably feeling threatened with this newcomer suddenly sharing his space and his people. Maybe it's easier to think of him as being afraid to lose your love, like an older child acting out when a younger sibling comes along.

Further update:
Zeke continues to do great playing and sleeping with the two other young ferrets, but we've still yet been able to have Zeke out at the same time as Goober for more than probably about 30 minutes or so. There have been times that Goober has gone after Zeke IMMEDIATELY after coming out of the cage and there have been other times that he'll chase Zeke to something Zeke can hide under and Zeke will mostly just hiss at him and bare his teeth as Goober tries to figure out a way at him. When Goober has tackled him, Zeke continues to really scream but doesn't necessarily always run away from the situation once he's engaged. I'm not sure if this means Zeke is trying to fight (instead of flight), or just thinks he's in a position that he can no longer flee.
I have tried the Sudocrem and it doesn't seem to be much of a deterrent to Goober (or at least not yet). We have also tried to "sin bin" Goober for 3-4 minutes after each attack - the best we can get out of that is that we might get a few minutes where Goober won't try anything, but this seems like it could be more tied to the fact that we've stopped watching him like a hawk.
Still hoping and praying...everyone's words of encouragement and advice is very much appreciated.

Thank you absinthefairy, I will definitely be looking at your post to see what you try. So far we haven't had any blood drawn, but some red scratch marks where if no intervention took place they probably would be drawing blood. When Zeke is hiding and successfully fending off Goober I try to not intervene unless contact is made. It's so difficult to hear and watch because Goober really does look like he's trying to kill him. Sometimes we wonder if a part of it is that Goober thinks Zeke is a rodent of some sort with the noise he's making and that's why he's trying to hurt him? We really don't know what his deal is but it pains us to see this all going on. As I said, Zeke, Angel, and Turbo all get along and play together, and I think my husband and I kinda hoped that if Goober saw the three of them all getting along he'd see that the baby has been incorporated into the business and just accept the differences but so far no luck
