What happens when female ferret has too much light a day and what hapens when she has to little?

Too much light is one of the factors in adrenal. Too little means the animal cannot create it's own Vit D. If we're talking about an intact jill, then you will bring her into season. This is how the farms and BYB's bring a jill in season to get kits all year round. ciao

I think the goal is to give your ferret natural daylight when you can while giving them access to dark places to go and sleep and reduce the amount of artificial light that they are exposed too. At least, that's how I have been doing it.
