It has been found today that my twin babys arnt doing as well as i had thought my little mini one cant regulate her body temp and gets cold very easy her sister the bigger one of the two is slightly parralised in her hind legs although she is doing well and can get around easily in her own time she is still going to struggle doing things that a healthy ferret can do with ease im so glad i decided to keep all of my beutiful kits at least i know that im in for a tough run with these two little ones but i can at least give them the best that i possibly can for their own special needs all my kits will have and do have the best home they could hope for

I'm sorry you've got a couple of wee ones who are not thriving. It's so heartbreaking. Though the others appear to be ok....one thing to consider is their calcium levels. Swimmers isn't uncommon in kits and can be remedied if caught early enough. It may be that kit doesn't absorb as well as other and it would be of great benefit to the kit to find out if this indeed the problem. I've seen a number of kits who've been brought back from the brink of paralysis to lead strong and relatively healthy lives. ciao
