The media doesn't ever seem to get it right in the long run, on anything. But hey, at least it is something? I understand the need to get a vet involved but I wish it was a more knowledgeable one. When I took my Jake into the office (freshly on raw) it didn't seem like it really mattered what I told the vet, unfortunately. I think I could have told him my ferret was on fire, and he would have kept looking at me with a blank look ... Don't actually think I've ever had a ferret knowledgeable vet ... I am sure their are some out there, but I've been to three separate vets for my furbabies, and they all kinda react the same. But I love my dog/cat vet! But they are easier.

That's perfect! Keeping that handy for the vet visit just in case I get a stern scolding.

That actually explains a lot about why ferrets are fed so much crap? How can they get away with feeding ferrets dried banana treats? By not having standards. Thank you for that!
