So my blender smoked and died and I need to make more soup! I made enough until tomorrow morning. Any recommendations for a decent priced blender that can handle the job of blenderizing meat? I need it like ASAP. Thank you.

The Magic Bullet is a good blender and is about $40, most Walmarts will carry it, and I'm sure other stores will too, the Ninja is an awesome blender, but it more pricey at $150+, but there is a smaller one for $40, most stores carry it too. I had a Magic Bullet and it burnt up, my family has a Ninja, the smaller one, I'm not allowed to use it for raw meat since they make fruit smoothies in it (lol) but it is a great blender.

I found a great food processor at my local thrift store for $10. Works great and if it I'd dies I won't feel bad bc it was only $10.

If money is no object.
yes that is a whole Cornish game hen. No egg shell powder needed as it has all the bone from the entire CGH

I got a Ninja Ultima. Hope it does the job.

Just don' try this with just any blender. I think the ninja has too much plastic and has a rubber coupling between the motor and the jar.
The blendtec has a splined shaft between the motor and the jar. also all stainless steel blade.
I just don't want someone ruining their blender trying this.

The Ninja worked well once I figured out how much to put in. Put too much in the first time. Now I have enough soup until Wednesday morning. Planning on buying a freezer this weekend and then making more.
