I' m trying to stock up on plastic food containers for the ferret's different organs/bone/etc. What sizes would be the most useful?
Right now I'm looking at 8oz and 16oz containers.
What containers and what sizes do you use?

I found these 2 types of storage that are perfect for me. I use the round ziplock ones for soupie and each can fit 4oz. I use the square the square ones for portioning out hearts, liver and slivers/chunks. I then freeze that and defrost as needed. It's also great for warming up bc they float in a large bowl with war water.

jerseygirl, I have those exact same containers and LOVE them. Right now my girls are eating a combined 3-3.5 oz a day, so these containers are the perfect size for a "one a day" kind of system. They stack really nicely, fit into tiny crevices in my freezer, and I can label them with masking tape and a sharpie

@celene I know they are perfect for meals. I was so excited when I found them. My freezer is packed too and they are the perfect size. I never thought of labeling them. That's a great idea bc sometimes I can't tell the difference btwn frozen hearts and frozen livers. Why didn't I think of that?

jerseygirl, if everyone thought of everything on their own, we wouldn't need these forums! And then we wouldn't get to meet and chat with all these other ferret-loving folk
