The boys look great Gina. I knew you were their perfect match. They are a very special pair.
The quick intros are ok as they were kept separate from the rest of the ferrets here so the risk of illnesses being transmitted was minimal.

Jeremy's Boggle Aww, if I had a say in it I would have him But, my mother is the one calling the shots with them, and she isn't happy about Vet bills. I've just got the newest addition, Marcie, about 1yrs old, wild and loves her raw. Well technically she's a foster fert but we'll change that soon enough (giggle)

One week update: Casper and Leon are adjusting to our schedule. They're all awake and ready to go both when I get up in the morning and when I get home from work. They've ALMOST got the run of the house now, only 1 room where I still feel the need to supervise, so they're having lots of time to explore and play. They all usually climb back into the cage about 8:00 and put themselves to bed for the night. They're thrilled to have new playmates and are learning all the best places to hide so they can ambush me and retreat without being captured. They had a bath... well they've had several actually (water rinse only).. they've decided that it's fun to dig in the litter box <sigh> Leon isn't overly fond of bathtime, but if I put him in the sink and rub his chubby belly, he stays pretty still. Casper on the other hand, laid down in the bathtub and just soaked, poofy tailed and smiling. Then of course they both do the typical 'after bath spaz', lol. Leon is having a little trouble adjusting to eating in a crowd. He prefers to carry his meatz to a separate shelf and eat alone, but that's a problem since it has to be hooked to the cage. Casper on the other hand is proving to be a piggie. No matter how much food I serve, he eats until the dishes are empty. I'm not sure if he's just eating for winter or if he's afraid the others will eat it all before he has a chance to. I suspect the latter, lol. It's causing some problems because, as I said, Leon wants to eat alone, and Slinkee likes his food to 'age' a few hours before he eats, and since Casper won't stop until it's gone, he's leaving nothing for Leon and Slinkee. I'm feeding 4 or 5 times a day right now, trying to make sure everyone gets enough. I'm a little concerned about Leon not eating enough. He's still super active and pooping plenty, but he's lost a couple of ounces. I just pulled him aside and gave him some soup in my lap, which he didn't really want but he took it to make me happy. Meanwhile, Slinkee sat in the cage giving me stink-eye. I've gotten cuddles from both of the new boys now. Leon likes to snuggle while he falls asleep. Casper I can only cuddle if I pull him out of bed once he's asleep, but then he'll rouse a little and snuggle up closer and give a big contented sigh. They're such sweet boys. I've just realized that I haven't mentioned Minnie. As we expected, she's the boss, lol. If she calls, all 3 boys come running. If she wants a certain piece of meat, they give it to her. If they even think about touching her favorite wonky, she throws a hissy fit until they STOP thinking about it and go play with something else. If she wants a bed to herself, the boys vacate it. On laundry day, they spent part of the day with a nearly bare cage (because of the new boys vs the litter box, ALL 3 sets of bedding were dirty). I left them with one large bed and one small bed. I came back to find 3 big boys restlessly tossing and turning and spilling out of the tiny 1-ferret bed and one tiny girl sleeping soundly all sprawled out alone in the 4-ferret bed.

I've been wondering what happened to you, 'cause I knew you'd be all over this! Here's how it happened.. back at the end of the summer, Stef wanted Cloud, I wanted Leon. Then Stef got Keller and she disrupted Stef's whole business, so no Cloud for her. Then when I finally made up my mind about Leon, he and Cloud had bonded. I couldn't take on 2 right then, so they stayed with the Boggle until I got my act together a couple of weeks ago. And now my house is crazy, and messy, and completely overrun with woozles!

I was thinking that I should check in on you. Cloud/Casper has found the home that he was meant to be in. He has his best friend Leon and a new brother and sister. I couldn't be happier for him. Our family doctor needed to rehome his little girl. She lost her bonded mate (the doctor doesn't know why) and his family was afraid of her. She was all alone with very little attention. Paul told our doctor that he would bring her home. It turns out that Keller (formerly Cheesecake) is deaf and doesn't like other ferrets. Roamy is being his usual aggressive self and now my Juliet is very aggressive towards her. Keller is very vocal and squeals/screeches/screams, anytime that anyone comes near her. So, intros are rough and taking longer than they should. I'm hoping that Gina and I will be able to meet somewhere in the middle and I will get to meet Casper and all her other little cutie pies (I'm dying to meet Minnie the Menace). Everything worked out as it should have.

I just got busy and wasn't checking in regularly for a few weeks. Now I feel lost. LOL. I remember when four seemed like a lot. Don't worry, in a few months it will seem normal and then you can get a few more.
