Phew glad they're okay! Sounds like we dodged a bullet. Good idea not letting them upstairs just yet, ferrets are good stashers (and chewers)

Got to love these little poops but man to they give us gray hairs. It does appear that you're dodged the bullet on this one. Thank goodness. Was so worried about you and the little ones ciao

Thanks everyone. We do appear to have dodged a bullet. I stayed up with them a long time last night, and then in the morning, the girls seemed okay and we had nice orange poops with nothing in them. Then of course, today would be a day that we had appointments and I worried all day. We came home to find everyone fine. It's been a long day and I'm heading off to bed, after a little play time and quite a few extra hugs and kisses. Whether they understand or not, I'm giving into the need to reassure myself that everyone is okay.

Get some sleep! You need and deserve a rest after that. It's exhausting. **hugs**

The girls are doing well. No signs of any trouble. Poops are back to normal, their activity levels are good and no signs of any distress. The only thing that worries me is where is the rest of that rubber. I even took the bottom fabric off of a chair that Juliet likes and is a stash spot. I checked the drawer and cabinet that they slept in, I've searched the whole downstairs and no large piece of rubber anywhere.

Oh that'll be nagging you until you find it. Keep checking! Maybe they found a new stash spot? I'd get a flashlight and just search every nook and cranny, under the rugs and beds. Did it maybe fall down the sink drain?

Someone needs to invent a rubber detector.

Someone needs to invent a rubber detector. They have. It's called a ferret Question about the canned pumpkin -- what do you do with what's left over? Can it be frozen? Or do we just get a new can of pumpkin? Thanks to this thread, I've decided to see if Maisie likes canned pumpkin before any necessary blockage protocol (god forbid), and whether I'll need to mix in some oil, or warm it up.

Thanks to this thread, I've decided to see if Maisie likes canned pumpkin before any necessary blockage protocol (god forbid), and whether I'll need to mix in some oil, or warm it up. Pumpkin can be frozen. I have a tiny ice tray for making ' ice balls' to go into water bottles. Each space holds about 1/2 tsp. I freeze it in that, then pop out the balls and store them in a ziploc bag. It's more watery when it thaws, but it works the same way.

Great idea gfountain Glad they are still doing fine @poncesmom Maybe they passed it before you started the protocol and it was in a poop?
