Awwwee, that sounds adorable.... Linus definitely doesn't do that but I wish he did.

My bear is a waardie. He: Does pez head Is awkward... Very much so. Weaker back end. Dooks to himself quietly. I call it grumpy man grumbles Wags his tail Looks at you with his head cocked to the side, all the time Drools (this is a weird one, but he had a wet mouth all the time) and is overall just not very bright. But he is so incredibly lovable. He never gets into anything that my others do because he just isn't bright enough to figure out what they are doing.

Nixxie is the wardie in my avatar. In so many ways she seems more intelligent to my other guys, and then in other ways well...
She runs with her nose to the ground She can be completely oblivious sometimes due to her lack of hearing She loves to snorkel in the water dish and tries to dump and horde it. She loves showers. She will join you in the shower and and always seems to know when the shower even though she can't hear it.
Vaccuum Attack!

Yogi does most of these things. He gets the pee belly, flattens a lot, does the pez head(I have a good picture of that somewhere...), gets really annoyed when things are in his way(he's so determined to move the tube that's connected to the wall), is such a sweetie, likes to put his feet on the side of the bowl(which is why I can only use heavy ceramic dishes now), tries to stash cups and bowls of water, gives kisses, is very chunky and loves all food, waddles, etc. He also gets along with all animals and people. He's the only ferret I've gotten that didn't need a long introductory period; I also use him to help the new ones adjust to being with other ferrets. I'm not completely sure if he's a waardie, but I suspect it. I'm also not actually sure if he's really deaf

@mandi Have you ever snuck up behind him and he gets startled? Linus jumps, as if he startled, if he doesn't see me or feel me walking towards/behind him. He often gets in trouble for doing things he not supposed to like digging in my couch. Now I know why he never listened to me when I told him no over and over. Does Yogi get startled?

So far the only weird thing I have noticed our Waardy boy, Stoffel doing is his constant want to "hug" our cat. She wants none of that. See photo below. LOL!

It's hard to really sneak up behind him. He's always either asleep or following me around when I'm in the room

The test I did was a vacuum in the other room near the den to see if he responded...he didn't. Deaf as a door knob.

I'm pretty sure the pee-belly is a combination of the bladder and nerves being improperly developed and the general dumb as a post thing. They don't really know they have to pee till it's really urgent and then when the bladder empties past a certain point they don't realize there is still urine in it or still coming out so they just wander off through the puddle, still peeing. Hoss could dribble for a good 10 to 12 feet after creating a puddle that looked to be a pint or so of urine.
