For the last few weeks, i've been watching two of my girls, expecting them to come into season. One is implanted (01/02/2013) and one is not, she was jill jabbed in the spring. Am i right in thinking that they may come into season at this time of year? I'm sure i've read that somewhere, but i've only had experience of it during the spring, and i thought maybe if it were the case, it would have happened already. I've tried researching this myself but i got mixed results :/

Hi As you are in the uk they wont come into season until spring ( unless you keep them in artificial light and confuse the body clock )what may of happened is they started to come in and rough play brought them out before you could notice young jills often have two or three seasons per year but not this late in the year if they are kept to natural lighting ( more dark hours than light from now until spring ) if its dark outside then they are in the dark if its light outside then they can have light if they are housed outside then they will regulate themselves hope this helps take care bye for now Bev

My wee girlies both came in during the spring and all is quiet at this point in time. Lady Morgain in her usual obtuse method once again brought herself out so that she could continue to co-habitate with her best friend, Tico. Lady Lola never came back in after having her kits...once was enough lol. As long as you keep your wee girls in natural light timing for this time of year, they shouldn't come back into season again this year. ciao
