Glad he's eating better. When my Caillou had gingivitis, he fought me when I tried to look into his mouth. I had to have someone hold him and scruff him while I pried his mouth open, once his meds started working he started fighting less. Perhaps you could trick him, roll him on his back and start rough housing with him, when he opens his mouth all playful just put your finger on the opposite side and lift his gums up and take a look (giggle) I do hope little Remus starts feeling better.

He doesn't like to roughhouse with me I might try getting help looking later tonight or tomorrow. I'm just hesitant to use too much force in case I hurt him or cause more damage.

He ate on his own tonight! (dance) My good boy. He's also roaming around the room as per usual. I'm hesitant to engage in play because I don't want him biting on toys or anything. Gonna schedule a followup appointment for Wednesday, since I'm leaving for a trip on Thursday.

I was able to get a good look at his incision this morning, it's looking really good! He has a follow up appointment at the vet on Wednesday before I leave for my vacation.

Remus is getting small chunks in his grinds and doing well with them. His incision still looks great, as far as I can tell. Follow up appointment on Wednesday!
