While I was in one of our local pet stores I was looking around the cat food section and came across a food called Instinct Raw Boost. To me, the ingredients looks pretty good and I find it pretty cool it has freeze dried raw pieces in it. I also love that there are 4 different varieties, chicken, lamb, rabbit, and duck. Would this be an appropriate food for a ferret? Here is the link to the food with all the info: www.instinctpetfood.com/product/instinct-raw-boost-grain-free-kibble-cat-food-chicken

If you are going to feed a kibble at all, Orijen is a better quality.

Ok, Im feeding a 5 pound bag of Orijen right now mixed with a 2 pound bag of wellness CORE and a 2 pound bag of EVO. I want to keep Orijen for sure but want to mix it with another food. Im not too sure what though....I heard a few bad things about EVO and the ingredients in wellness CORE doesnt impress me, there seams to be a lot of veggies and fruits in it. What would be best to mix the orijen with?

Im still considering raw but I dont eat meat and I dont really want to buy all these different meats and organs and bones and stuff and mess with it and mix it and all that. Is there an easier way? Are there are companies that sell pre-mixed raw food or something to make my life a bit easier and make my ferrets life healthier? I just can NOT stomach meat. I hate the look, smell, everything about it. If it was pre mixed with all the bones, organs, ect. and all I had to do is feed it to him, I could do that.

I will have to let a kibble feeder respond as all I know about them any more is that wysong's and Orijen are the two best. And if anyone had issues with the new version of epigen 90 ferret that switching to the epigen digestive support fixed it.

You would also be amazed at just how many vegans are feeding their carnivores a species appropriate diet Many will actually use gloves to handle the meat so they don't need to touch it.
