I should add one of the reasons I had 2 organ meals was cause I wanted to make sure I covers all my bases when it came to the organs I give them. Like I know lungs have something in them they need, heart, liver, spleen, all those things in them. I wanted to make sure they were getting as close to the whole animal as possible. Would cutting down to one organ meal a week still be a good idea for making sure they get all of what they need each week? or would one mixed organ meal a week be fine still? And they are serious about their wings and thighs! They flat nut up over them LOL Just thought that was funny.

Yes, one organ meal a week is fine One week, you could feed 2 oz each of liver, and 2 oz each of another organ. Next week, again 2 oz liver, and a different organ. Or, you can make the meal 2 oz each liver, and mix up the other organs and give 2 oz per ferret of the mix along with the liver. For heart- it's a muscle meat and should be fed as such You can balance it out over time, with no problem.

OK got it! Yeah, I knew heart was supposed to be treated like a muscle, but I was thinking adding some heart to their organ meal would you know like add a little safety net to make sure they are getting enough. I'm just a worry wort like that LOL I'm thinking if I can't find enough of all the organs separate, I'll just order some ground organ from Hare Today and maybe add a little chopped liver to it. Just to make sure. Would that be too much liver?

It depends on the ratio. You could try it. If they get the squirts, cut out the extra liver And nothing wrong with adding some extra heart to your mix. Just wasn't sure if you were aware it wasn't an organ Ok, so if you can write up an updated menu, I'll contact Heather, and we can get you graduated!

How's this?
Monday: pork ribs (the boneless kind) Wings
Tuesday: stew beef Thighs
Wednesday: Mice heart
Thursday: gizzards wings
Friday: chicken or turkey neck Beef (some other type of beef I can find, bone in or out)
Saturday: Mice Organ (I’d use the ground beef organ from Hare Today. If I can’t get my hands on that I’ll make a soup of chicken hearts liver and what ever other organs I can find. I‘ll probably add goose egg to the organ meal too.)
Sunday: thighs pork neck bones
Like I said before, I'll keep working on dif meats with them. That way I can like replace a meal (except the organ and heart meals) with something else every now and then.

Looks good to me too. Congratulations You have completed your switching journey. It's an ongoing learning experience and you will find that as your ferrets age, mature that their needs will change slightly but with the knowledge you've acquired here you will be able to handle those changes. Please be aware that even though you've graduated you're mentor is still available to you. You may pm her any time you have a question or you can post your questions to the forum. Your thread will be left open for a couple of days, allowing your mentor to come in and congratulate you. It will then be locked up, but it will be available to you to review or read through at any time, you just won't be able to post to it. Congratulations....have fun, give your little ones a big hug...they are now reaping the rewards of a healthier more species appropriate diet ciao
