Hello! I am new to this forum and also a new ferret owner! I just got two new ferret boys a little over a week ago. They are both a year old and my one boy, Jesse, is extremely picky! I am going to attempt to try and get them on a raw diet. My other boy Walter, has tried some egg yolks, but disregards everything else. I really want this to work I just don't know how to go about it. Should I just wet their food and get them used to the texture? Any guidance would really help.

Ferrets imprint on their food and few ferrets will try new stuff once past about 9mo, so you have to do a transition and teach them that what you are offering is food. Check out the mentoring board to see how some have got their ferrets onto a better diet. If it's a bit overwhelming, remember after 15 posts you can apply for a mentor to work with you one on one. And you can also post questions here.
