Sounds like she is a little personality but don't know if Dar will end up with the snuggler she wanted. Glad she is safely home

I guess she's not deaf cos she responds to a squeakie. She doesn't come running to it yet.
She's doing better today, so far. She's learning that the others don't want to hurt her. Right now Yoshi is the one we have to watch. He really wants to get up close and personal.

She is already doing so much better! Tonight when I reached under the futon to bring her out, she started to bite me once, but stopped at a nip. When she hides, she will come to me when I scratch on the floor. She found the soup and lapped up a bit without being forced. She now tolerates Pandy, Abita and Alice without getting scared or attacking. Still have to watch out for Yoshi. Tonight we had to give him a short time out, but when he came out, he was ok. Cute stuff: She has adopted a mini tennis ball that Yoshi had already stripped the fuzz from as her favorite toy. She brought it in the cage and put it in her bed. When she woke up, the first thing she did was make sure it was still there. She plays with it in the cage, and none of my ferrets ever played with toys in the cage, probably because they have plenty of out time. When she wakes up and we reach in the cage she goes in the litter box and pretends to poop. But she will keep going back in until she does poop. And when she is ready for bed, she goes in the cage. We're looking forward to the day that I can get a picture of her eating soups with the others and send it to her shelter mom. I'm pretty confident it will happen within 2 weeks, but nothing is being forced.

I'm so glad that you got her. She sounds wonderful and seems to be doing great at trying to fit in, or at least as well as most wee girlies who don't want to appear too desperate for a forever home She's beautiful ciao

She weighed in today at 30 oz. I opened the ramp in the FN and found Yoshi sleeping in the hammie above her bed.

Soupies! She had her first taste yesterday, and tonight she dove in. This is her with Yoshi and Abita, the two who have shown the most interest in her, and who she has been reluctant to be with. Yoshi tries so hard but he gets frustrated which leads to squealing. There were no incidents today. Rosa played in the kiddie pool with the starch peanuts, and was happily dancing around. she spent some time sleeping in Dar's arms, too. Every day is better and better. I JUST GOT KISSES!! Real ones, too!!

Looks like she just needed someone to accept her and love her. Now that she feels it, she can start giving it back.
