Hamsterbaby just hit three pounds (I weigh them with something you weigh fish with). He's a Marshalls' (i.e. fixed) and about 8 months old. I'm curious to see other large ferrets! I mean, that is large for a ferret, right? He's my largest ferret and he started on raw from the day I brought him home.

Mine are both tiny lol. I almost got a huge boy twice the size that Siren was, but he was very nippy. Anyhow, I wanna see these big boys and girls too! I really want a big cuddly ferret someday.

This is my boy at his winter weight of 3lbs. You can see his size compared to the girls at 2lbs and 1lb 13oz. He's down to a svelte 2lb 13oz right now.

That was during the first year I had Mis, so it's mostly baby fat + raw diet, haha. He slimmed down the next year. I'm pretty sure this is a pic of him from around the same time. He's still long now, but he's a slim sort of thick at an average of 2.5lbs now. It'll be surprising to see if Hamsterbaby stays close to that 3lbs in the future, or if he grows out of the 'baby fat' as he gets older. He's totally adorable, btw, and that is an awesome way of weighing your ferrets! Haha. I wonder if we have something like that too, it's so hard keeping them still enough for my kitchen scale to register their weight correctly.

Those fish weigh scales, I used one to weigh my daughter when she was smaller. They work upto 40 lbs and are so awesome! They're less than $10 I think from wal-mart.
