Hamsterbaby just hit three pounds (I weigh them with something you weigh fish with). He's a Marshalls' (i.e. fixed) and about 8 months old. I'm curious to see other large ferrets! I mean, that is large for a ferret, right? He's my largest ferret and he started on raw from the day I brought him home. I have to ask how Hamsterbaby got his name?

My big boys, Napoleon 4.8 lbs and Ghenghis 3.11 Loki Bears 3.12 (don't let it fool you though, he's sharing space with Napoleon, but that's a large cat cuddle cup that they're sleeping in). If you count the paws you will see there is another ferret in there ;D Attila, my big boy at 4.13 Lady "B" Itchy tipping the scales at 3lbs ciao

when Hammie was a baby he just had a little Hamster face. I originally named him "Cinnabon" but all I ever called him was "hamsterbaby." Plus I love to say that word! Of course, he IS much cuter than a hamster.

Merlin is nearly 8 months old and is now 3.8lb, he was weighed at the vets when he was desexed. He also stole the vet nurses hearts, lol He is next to his step sister Bindi who is 1.7lb. Buffy, their mother is 1.6lb.

No, not that I know of. I know he was with a family, and never had, buddies or much time out of cage, and kibble fed. He's slowly been loosing weight since I got him, more activity and friends to play with. Biggest thing is him learning/able to do things he could not before... like stand on hind legs to get up on couch. (good and bad there lol) He's yet to figure out how to climb out of rice box. Of the 3 his activity level is right in the middle (middle of a 10m kit and a 3/4yr little girl) He's big happy, healthy and running around right now looking for trouble. lol
