Thought I'd throw this out there again. I'm looking to get my Kodo a buddy to play with and I would really enjoy having a 2nd ferret to have run around again. I've been browsing shelters and adoption sites, not sure if there are others out there that I haven't seen yet. If anyone has any other suggestions or ideas on where to get another, please let me know!
I've already been checking out petfinder.com and craigslist. Those are the only two popular ones I've seen so far.

I've only recently moved here to Tampa this year, and I'm still learning where places are and what places are actually here. On that note, I've been checking craigslist.org everyday, and hasn't been one that's anywhere near where I live. Im hoping one day Ill look and find one my boyfriend will be happy with. I don't know where any of the shelter's are or adoptions are yet. And this is my first time trying to find one through adoption or shelter. No idea how to go about it. I got mine through people I knew. I don't want to go about it the wrong way, haha. I'm so new at this!

If you find one that you love located near Columbia, South Carolina (So Lexington, SC Augusta, GA etc) I'd be more than happy to pick him up meet you half-way to Tampa. We frequently have ones on Craigslist in this area.
It would still be like a 3 hour drive, unfortunately.

Ill definitely check out that first site. The yoda site, i tried to find before and couldnt find it anywhere. Which was a bummer since it looked promising.
As for what my boyfriend wants... He's not a ferret person.. Never heard of one till he met me. But he lets me have one and is okay with another because it makes me happy. He just doesnt want to have to go far to pick up a ferret, like some places i found would require. There was a sable posted on craigslist in Clearwater, but he wants something closer to home. He hinted at wanting a female over another male, which is fine with me.

When i asked, he jokingly said hes worried id come home with more than one ferret ;D but in all reality, we try to do these things together. Try and be apart of every decision made. Both pick out a ferret = both get it. Maybe were just weird? Haha. I still think if i find one i really love i could convince him to go with me if its further. I dont know yet though, waiting to find one first.
