Some jerk hid half a mouse in the bedding. Got a wonderful surprise when I washed that load. I suppose I *would* rather it be the front half, if I had to choose..

One of the first things I learned after I started feeding raw was to check the bedding before I put it in the washer. ;D They usually stashed anything they didn't want to eat right away either in the sleeping box or the sleep sack.
If no one wanted it for later snacking, it usually wound up in the litter box. That's almost always where I find the mouse intestines, as they only eat them when they're really hungry.

I'd love to say I've never washed a mouse...but yah...not a good thing to take out of the washer filter I really have to remember to cut the elastics out of fitted sheets. I don't because the guys love the corners for snuggling but they also make ready repositories for half eaten mice and chicks...{sigh}....at least they're clean when they're done ciao
