im in Sudbury, Ontario, and i have no idea where to go for a vet... there are a few in town, but none of them specialize in exotics, and im not even sure where would be the best idea to go... none of them say they are good with ferrets, so i worry about bringing him to any of them... but i think hes sick, so i need to bring him in! HELP!

i called Walden when i first got him, bc a friend with 3 furries goes there, and the lady on the phone said nobody here would feel comfortable treating my furry everyone says go there, but the vets say they dont treat exotics, so im just left sitting here going "WTF?"

How long has he had it for? Still eating, drinking, playing, no lethargy? If that's the case, you can also give him 1/2 tsp of pure pumpkin to help firm up his stools in the interim.

Have you got someone else who can feed it to him? It's one of the best remedies around for loose stools and your little one has been in need of a vet or a remedy since Nov 18th. That's a long time for a wee one to be having loose stools. What do you feed? ciao

since i started giving him ground meat recently, he stopped the diarhea, so i think it was just what i was feeding him before

Sounds like you've found a possible interim solution but be aware feeding just ground meat has the potential to go downhill very fast (lacks far too many nutrients). Check out our nutritional section to get some ideas to help you do a safe transition ciao
