Essaic Tea

I said in another thread that I bought Bio Strath Original, instead of Essaic Tea.. Well I *attempted* to give sly some of this bio strath elixir, and he thought I was trying to kill him.

He's had some gross meds, but i've never seen him react like this before.

My question is.. does Essaic Tea taste better? Do ferrets generally take it without much fuss? I bought some Essaic Tea online (bulk, and dry - not premade) so i'm just waiting for it to get here..

I've not used it before, but I do know most will generally give a tiny bit(1 cc) in the soupies twice a day.

Thank Sherry, Everythign I read though said try taking it away from food.

and for soupies, should we ever syringe feed it? Sly decides that two bites is enough food. the only way I can get it in him after that is by a syringe.. but I don't want to choke him.

I'm on an iPad right now, so can't open two windows to check, but go to the holistic care board. Under "references(I think) is a thread titled "essiac tea". There is a message in there, at the end, that I got from someone who has used it successfully for the fuzz.
