I am so glad she is doing better, but they're going to send her home even if there is still something in her? I'm confused

If she's eating and pooping well, odds are very high she was able to pass it on her own.

LOL I'd want an X-ray and I'd want to search the stool for that sucker. Hopefully she'll at least get the X-ray before going home.

Well, they have actually looked through her stools and haven't found anything. I am not sure if they will do another xray or not (I will request one if they don't) before sending her home. I know last night they had said they wanted to though.
And if there is something in her still, not sure if they will send her home or not. I do know they talked about me giving her fluids and such if she still had built-up gases. But if that solid object in her tummy is still there, I don't know if I will get her or not.
We shall see! Either way, so far they have just done a lot of xrays and LOTS of fluids (apparently they have given her the max because of how backed up she was yesterday!).

My fingers are crossed as well. Hopefully she's managed to pass whatever it was on her own.

I've never had experience with this...I was only commenting on how I would be feeling if it were me. I hope she did/does pass whatever it was.

This is my first experience with a blockage (and I've owned ferrets for 3 1/2 years!). All comments are appreciated, and that was actually a good question. I don't think I'll feel comfortable if they send her home if the solid item is still in her tummy. My luck is I would bring her in the door just in time for her to start heaving again....annnnd return to the vet after hours I'm going to call them before I head over to make sure they are doing another xray and that she is still doing well.
