Sierra could be a little like sushi.. Still young and not use to it.. I shall give her a bit of time to adjust. At the moment, she just loves her alligator that she goes inside and sleep. If shes not in there, shes on the shelf sleeping LOL. @allenya - I dint know they sell stuff for ferts at Etsy! Do you have links so maybe i could go have a looksie?

Both my girls will sleep in the hammock...sometimes together sometimes one at a time. I think they are in there most when they are sort of just dozing so they can see what is going on and when I come in the room.

I have dealt with this company before. I never got my product she was supposed to be making. Money was supposed to be paid but it was never finished and she finally quit responding to any emails 3 months after it was supposed to be finished.

Albion loved his hammies. He had never had one until I made him a couple, and he almost never slept anywhere else after I set him in one & he figured out how they worked.

My guys wouldn't go in one if it was hanging out in space. It has to hang right over a shelf and pretty much just touch the shelf when they're in it. Hopefully this will change...there's so much unused space!

Sierra sleeps in her hammies now! But sometimes when its hot, she prefers the blankie that i use to cover the cage floor and sleep in the open hehe!

My girls tend to do the same. Nyxie especially. She grew up in a open pen with no hammies so she will occassionally sprawl out on the floor when it's hot. Luckily it's finally getting cold here in Florida so my babies are snuggling up

When it's hot that's a totally different story. My guys will sleep on the very bottom of the cage on the plastic pan. I don't put anything on the bottom as far as fabric is concerned. That's where the potty and the food are. Between the butt scooting at one end of the cage and the meat dragging at the other end, I prefer to just scrub the pan clean with vinegar and peroxide rather than do ferret laundry every other day.

I think it depends on the weather. Right now they're big on their sleep sack but sometimes they like a cuddle bed, they always love a hanging cube and they all occasionally like their hammies. I bought a couple of these mini fleese baby blankets in the Dollar Store and threw one in a hammie and Ozzy is all about it.

I really think it depends on what's happening in her life. I've heard good things from people, but also know someone who basically had to chase her down to finally get what she'd paid for about 3 months later. What I posted was just my personal experience.

Hopefully this will change...there's so much unused space! My four (and the one who passed) were the same. The only thing I have found they will sleep in if it has nothing below it is the pirate ship or a cube (which 2 won't go in anyway). There is only one who will not sleep in hammocks, but will sleep in the cube or pirate ship. She is the one I think is a deafie and an albino. Two, Lincoln and Riley, couldn't care any less where they sleep. I've seen them sleep in hammocks, cuddle cups, on the floor, on my feet, in the LITTER box (right after it had been cleaned). And Bonkers absolutely loves to sleep in my shirts. But she won't go near her daddy's shirts LOL
