A couple people said on Momo's thread that there are so many posts like this lately, and I agree. But sadly I must add another. The Rocket has been battling insulinoma for nearly a year. Lately he's become incontinent, losing his ability to walk and he's started straining and peeing blood. He's going on his final flight to the vet today. A friend rescued Rocky and Moe, who passed in March, from a neighbor, saying he didn't know anything about ferrets but he had to get them out of there. He called me and of course I brought them home. I've had him 4 years and I'm guessing he's around 7. Rock used to love playing tag. He'd pop out of nowhere, look at me and run hoping I'd chase him. He loved sprinting around the house when he was younger, and we had carpet, lol. He also liked riding around in a box I pulled by a rope, and in a large trash bag with Eddie. I never had to worry about him getting into trouble and he always got along with everyone. He loved expanding the tunnels at the last house, and once he took a nap underground and made me sit on the porch for over an hour waiting for him to come out. He never really liked being held for long, but like his buddy Eddie he let you know when he was hungry. I think he was the most beautiful champagne I've ever seen. DIP Rock. Tell Eddie and Moe we miss them and the others Grooming Edddie's ears Climbing dog crate to get to cat food

There are far, far too many losses, lately. Rocket was a beautiful boy, who must be so grateful to have known and loved you and the family you gave him.
DIP, handsome boy.
