So it wasn't green diarrhea after all...it was green vomit! I came home today, and just as I was about to go out for a run Koda started hacking. He threw up green stuff. I don't think he ate anything. He is really dehydrated, and he's lethargic. He looks really skinny too! I have been so wrapped up in trying to get through all of my applications this week that the boys haven't had as much attention as they usually do. I know he has been eating because I have seen him eat. He had diarrhea the other day but I don't remember what day it was. I'm thinking maybe the night before yesterday? So Monday...? Anyways, I tried feeding him watered down baby food, and watered down pumpkin. He wasn't really into eating either. He ate a little bit of both. He liked the non-watered down pumpkin, but I don't want to dehydrate him since it's a fiber... I am keeping a close eye on him and going to keep trying to feed him periodically. I *might* be able to get someone from work to give him sub Q fluids for me. All of my money has gone into apps this week. I'm totally broke! If he isn't getting any better or if he gets any worse he will go to the vet. I am really hoping though that he doesn't need to go, or at least that he can wait until tomorrow to go to a regular vet instead of an emergency vet ($$$$). Agh! I don't know what this could be! My best guess is ECE..... I'm so worried for my little guy...

Fluids are a no-go. My coworker didn't have the equipment he'd need. Koda isn't really interested in pumpkin, baby food, or watered down either of the above. Koda won't even come to the door of the cage when I open it, he normally is hard to keep in! I let him out and he is exploring so he's not weak-lethargic. I think he is probably really nauseous. I'm going to see if I can syringe feed him some water, and I still have meds left from when he had IBD, that might help to calm down his nausea enough for him to eat...

We're at the emergency vet right now. Tried giving him pedialite and he immediately projectile vomited everywhere. Probably all the pedialite, all the water, and at least some of the pumpkin I gave him.

Will do. He's stable (they even took him back really quick to make sure) and there's a line so we'll be here for a bit. Shane is getting off work soon and is going to meet me here.

Thanks. He's just been laying in my arms. I put him back in the kennel and he went right to sleep again. They are seeing the people in front of me (poor kitty who got his tail slammed in the door) and then we're up next. Shane is picking up Taco Bell since he hasn't eaten (just got off work) and I haven't eaten since lunch. I got home and almost immediately got wrapped up in Koda stuff. Good thing Shane is feeding me lol I'll keep you guys posted.

They are X Raying right now. Vet suspects a blockage.

Koda is staying over night. They are doing IV fluids, and giving him Barium. In about 4-5 hours they will do another X-Ray and give me a call. If there's no blockage, they will give me some antibiotics (and the fluids should help a lot) and perhaps some pain meds and such and Shane will pick him up in the morning. If there is a blockage, then he will go into surgery in the morning.

Is the new ferret an MF? Do you think she carried ECE? i HOPE it is not a blockage. With his history of IBD i wonder if that makes him more susceptible to ECE.

Update. Vet just callee and Koda is Completely blocked up! He is going to have to have surgery. OMG. I just can't believe this right now it's too much. If it wasn't for school applications I would have the money no problem! Thankfully I have a good friend who has offered to help some but I don't know how much they are willing to help. Vet is putting together an estimate and calling me back in 5 minutes. My poor baby! I don't know what he could have gotten into!!!!
