Yeah, I couldn't wait for him to leave. But he had to carry in all of the boxes, and I accidentally ordered more than I wanted, so I have about 10 or so boxes, of boxes, with 25 boxes in each box. o.O So the awkwardness lingered for a while ;D ;D ;D

OMG Jackie you ordered 250 boxes? ;D I bet he thought you were crazy! What are you going to do with them all? I think I might order some and make an awesome ferret maze with them Or some kind of Tower of Craziness

I made a crazy box tower with them, and then put the rest on free cycle ;D But when I moved the box tower got messed up, so I recently ordered more Yeah I had SO many boxes it was insane. I felt terrible about it but they didn't go to waste.

Jackie a lot of people make that mistake, don't realize you are ordering one case of boxes and not just one box. A post office near the one I work at actually did the same thing. We just got in the tube boxes, I should grab one for the fuzzies, didn't even think about it.

I have them under the cage on that wire area, and they use them quite frequently! The long ones fit almost the whole way.

;D You guys are funny! USPS boxes ;D I will say though, Jackie, that the BIG box on the bottom 'floor' rack of the FN182 is AWESOME. When we bought a new TV a couple of years ago the boys showed a lot of interst in the box it came in OF COURSE so since it fit the bottom 'floor' shelf almost perfectly we just put it there (cause it took up WAY too much room in the floor). The boys LOVE IT They stash their fav toys in there and they like to sleep in there. ALso, since it sticks out a bit we use it at their first step out of the cage and have another shorter box below that for their second step, so it works double duty as a step too Since they like it SO much though and the cardboard is starting to sag, one day my BF and I plan on building them wooden box and maybe making 'rooms' in it and putting in some carpet for comfort. We'll make the front board a swinging/latching board so we can open it and clean it out easily.

Our boxes got here. The kids would much rather play in the box all of the boxes came in, instead of the box playground we built them...brats.

My boxes came! I quickly put together a little fort for them to play in. Assembled only by folding and interlacing boxes together, no glue or tape or staples or zipties or anything like that It's pretty simple, I'll think of something more exciting later! This was a quick 15 minute setup, they seemed bored so I wanted to get them started with something! Then I cut holes in the walls of the chambers at the bottom so it's like a maze of small compartments in the bottom So they can hang out in the inside passages or climb the staircase up to the top. Looks like it's "ferret approved" Mike ;D putting in some carpet for comfort. Um- if they are going raw, you may want to rethink this idea ;D

;D True Sherry. I have noticed that my FN seems to have WAY more blankies and NO bare pans compared to the raw feeders on here. I suppose I couldn't maybe have CLEAN raw eaters and leave all the blankies and carpet

;D True Sherry. I have noticed that my FN seems to have WAY more blankies and NO bare pans compared to the raw feeders on here. I suppose I couldn't maybe have CLEAN raw eaters and leave all the blankies and carpet I feed raw and my cage is like yours. Literally every horizontal surface except for the small food container is covered with fabric. Some meat juice gets on the fabric in a couple places but there are only a couple spots mine like to set the meat down to eat. I just wash their fabric once a week and it's never been a problem. Although, I do live in a dry warm climate so the juices dry out between feedings.

Whereas ours simply drag the meat all over the cage to their chosen spots to eat
