My BF works as an electrician. He happened to be at this guys house for repairs, and the guys breeds mice and rats as feeders and to supply the local pet store. I can get mice and rats from him at half the cost of the pet store. How sweet is that?? I do have a question though. I know mice and rats are close, but are they considered two different protien sources?

I'm so jealous, I have been trying to find a mouse or rat breeder near me but haven't found any lately! If I could get mice cheap enough I would feed them several times a week LOL!! My ferrets love them and the poops are the neatest cleanest ever ;D

Prices are better than what I had thought. Mice $0.50 each and rats $1.00 each. Got 36 mice and 10 rats this weekend. So excited. Now if I could just get the dog to try it.
