can a ferret eat raw chicken skin if its not all ground up? I was blending chicken but the skin is not blending very well.... Also if there are little pieces of bones in there (I am not sure if there is or not)?

Most definitely. The bone is good too, as long as it's not cooked ciao

Heather pretty much answered your question though and the bone one lol, i just thought I'd throw that note in

Ok Thanks! I was just checking because I have never fed anything raw before, I am not even sure she will eat it but im gona give it a try lol. Also I know they should have pumkin in their diet, how often should they have that? And what other supplements should she have? I am trying to give her a good diet so hopefully her disease wont progress or will at least be delayed. Thanks for all your help

I don't supplement except what is needed therapeutically. They do get marine fish oil daily, it seems to help with the ferret itchies. As far as the pumpkin....about 1 tsp a day...roughly? It's to take the place of the fur on the prey. ciao

If she doesn't take to it right off the bat, don't worry about it, it takes time. Just keep dabbing a bit on the end of her nose so she has to lick it off. She'll start to get the taste for it in a while
