Hello everyone, I was just wondering if anyone happened to hear of or use the brand Better In The Raw for Ferrets. I was just browsing the web today on my cell phone for some for some ferret enrichment ideas and homemade treat ideas when I happened to stumble across the website. Does anybody have any experience with the brand? I'm a first-time ferret owner and have one little champagne girl named Sushi. I've had her ever since she was 3 months old and she's just turned 9 months this week. She's currently fed a regimen of Innova Evo Ferret and Wysong Archetypal 1. She's has access to her Evo kibble in her cage 24/7 and I give her her freeze dried raw food once a day. I've been seriously considering switching her to a non freeze dried raw diet and have researched it extensively, but I was curious to know anyone's opinions on the brand and if they personally have used it. From my understanding it is NOT a food for ferrets on its own, nor is it meant to be sprinkled over food as a supplement. It states that the mix should be combined with water and raw food as to balance out the whole diet.
The ingredients are as follows..
Ingredients: Egg yolk, calcium lactate, liver powder, gelatin, whey protein concentrate, EFA from fish, taurine, kelp, barley grass powder, Vitamin B complex, Vitamin E succinate. NO vegetables, fruits, or grains of any kind are used.
And here is the website link. www.KnowBetterPetFood.com/raw_ferret_food
So are there any volunteers to shed some light about this brand. I've googled extensively before and have even read the forums here on the new and old holisticferret and this is the first time I come across this. Thank you kindly in advance.
