Then was does a plain sable look like? I thought sable was lighter colour body and darker legs,tail and mask.

This is a regular sable: Color: Sable Pattern: Standard This ferret is a Sable Standard. The guard hairs are a dark, warm brown. AFA Color Standard says... Guard Hairs - warm deep brown. Undercoat - preferred is a white to cream or light golden, but not yellow. Eyes - brown, near black. Nose - preferred is light brown, speckled/mottled brown, or brown 'T' outline.
