Hi Everyone,
I am new to the forum and am going to look for information on a raw diet. I have two ferrets Jasmine is 6 months and Jesse is a rescue who is 3 years old. I love them like I love my children and want to do what's best for them. Any advice on a raw diet would be wonderful. Thanks so much.
Teri

Hi Teri, and welcome Please feel free to browse, post, ask questions! You'll find the nutritional section to be helpful- tons of ideas there. And if you'd like a one on one mentor for a diet switch, just fill out the application. There is a bit of a waiting list right now, but in the interim, ask away! Oh- and we need some pictures of your fuzzums, too ;D

Thanks so much for the welcome. I am going to fill out the form for a mentor and will definately post pics of my girls. I am hoping a raw diet will put some weight on my Jesse. I rescued her about a month ago and she is really skinny and not nearly as active as my baby. Jesse will curl up and sleep on you and my baby just wants to run and play.

Poor girl It might take her a while to settle in, and get over being tossed from one home to another. But we'll get her on a good diet for you at least

Welcome! We are more than happy to help you with the switch! If you are ready to start now, you can set up a thread in the newbie section and just post questions, updates, etc. Everyone will pitch in and help you out!
Raw has put a lot of weight on my girls. The best thing about raw is that you can tailor it to eat fuzzy and find what works for them.

Hi guys thanks for such a great welcome. As promised are some pics of my girls. The first is my baby Jasmine stealing a plate and the second is my Jesse sleeping as usual. I plan on going out to get some chicken wings this weekend and will see if I can get my girls to eat any. I have a lot more research to do this weekend also.
