I am so sorry! Squirrley was fighting hard for you, you should know this. Sometimes they fight so hard to stay with you that they have used the last of their fight. At least she died peacefully in her sleep. You said that her tummy was tinged blue and bloated, it may be possible that she had a spleen rupture especially if she was adrenal/insulinoma.
If you don't mind, i added a halo to your signature which may take a day to process. DIP Squirrley, thank you for fighting so hard.

tomorrow I will be calling around to get prices for cremation. I told her this would be her forever home, and I ment it. after she gets cremated, her ashes will live next to our other pets who have past onto the rainbow bridge.

That's how we do it as well. We can't bury them since we rent, but we do bring them back home again. I've found it helpful in dealing with my own grief.

It's obvious you really loved her while she was here, and I'm sure she appreciated it more than you could imagine, if only she could speak! She'll be waiting for you DIP little Squirrley! We'll miss you!
