Congratulations, and he's adorable! Teddy? I was thinking Roosevelt; he may not have the 'stache, but he'll probably have the attitude ;D

Aww hes so cute. He looks so comfty in the cage. I love the way he seems to be in bliss when your petting him in the last pic. "Don't stop now Mom!!" BTW where did you get those cute crocks? Bahaha, it's actually Peter's hand petting him in the last pic. But he gives me those blissful looks too. He may be a tad sad because he is sleeping an awful lot and isn't that into playing yet. Then again, he might not know how to play like a ferret since he's always been alone, I'm not sure. We just got those crocks from PetSmart! They were the only thing I could find that would go with my bedding sets.... In the dog dish area. I looked for heavy stuff because of how ferrets push things around. Haven't started using them yet though (put 'em in for looks) as he's still on kibble, he has an automatic feeder and water lock-crock he came with for now.

Theodore, so Teddy for short - because he's so sweet and love-able and that name is Greek for "gift from God". I can't help but feel that's exactly what he is as he came out of nowhere for me after waiting for so long, and he's not a frustrating ferret at all, like most of the ones I've dealt with.

I am SO happy it finally happened and I couldn't have ended up with a better ferret. Seriously. He really has had a hard time of it, I just hope he will trust me completely soon and not sleep so much. Little Feet Ferret Bedding, Rose's bedding, is really, really well-made and this set she custom-made for me last year when I couldn't find a pattern I liked - been saving it for this fuzzy. Another nice thing is that it's made in a pet-free and smoke-free (I'm allergic to cigarette smoke) facility, and the proceeds go to her rescue and shelter fuzzies.

Yea, I have sewn my bedding, but I just don't have the time and would love another set, so I am going to save up and order from her. I am sure he will trust you! It may take time, but I really think rescues know and appreciate the people who saved them!
