Can feeding too much fat lead to white-ish stools?

It most certainly can Freaked me out the first time I saw it ;D For whatever reason, sometimes the fat simply passes through, and comes out as white stools.

I thought newbie might have brought home some werid parasite or bug. She especially enjoyed chicken fat, so she probably ate too much of it. I think this would be a good thing to add to that stool chart.

Oooooh. I sometimes see seedy stools and had no idea why. Is it ok to feed them too much fat? Or will it be like with humans and cause heart issues?

I would say too much of anything can be a bad thing.

I believe that it was the fat that caused the white stool for ur newb but I wanted to add that a lot of calcium in the system will cause white stools, incase you guys add it to the poo chart.

Given that ferrets should have around 30% fat in their diet, unless you are feeding a pure diet of fat, shouldn't cause a problem

When there is too much undigested fat it simply acts like a huge lube !( think eating a pound of lard ) if you see white stools simply cut down the fat by 5% and give the gut and bowel a few days to get back into rhythm problem is they guys love fat to them its ferret crack lol but its a case of eat too much and pay for the pleasure ( or we do lol ) take care bye for now crazy lady
