So I've got 4 ferrets. My first two I was surprised with at Christmas, Flandre and Phoebe. Flandre is... well, he was a medium silver, but then his grey hairs fell out and now he looks more like a DEW. Phoebe is an albino. They're from the same litter, thus brother and sister.
After owning these two for a few years, me and my mother were frequenting the Petsmart section of the store made specifically for the Lexington Humane Society, as usual. So, we saw something we'd never seen available from the Humane Society before(sometimes you find some really odd things. We once saw lab rats up for adoption, poor things had holes in their ears). They had two sable ferrets, another brother/sister pair. We came back the next day and adopted them~ Their names were Sid and -Nancy-... but I wasn't overly fond of the name Nancy, so I named her Panda instead.
Both pairs get along really well~ I don't have as many pictures of Sid and Panda since I've only had them for a few months.
Flandre:
(You can actually see the pupil if you look close enough.~)
(Time for his close up!)
(Trying to stash away large doggie treats again.)
(I tried seeing how they'd react to eating raw earlier today. Phoebe has eaten -some- but is no where near as interested as Flan is. The two sables have no interest at all.)
Phoebe:
(Obviously konked out after digging around outside. And no, we don't use chemicals on our lawn or any form of fertilizer, enhancers, etc. All we do is mow it.)
Panda:
Sid:
(Decided to snooze on my vest.)
(He had made a little burrow into some sheets piled up under a pillow.)
More than one:
(Panda and Phoebe, sleeping on a little toy~)
(Panda and Phoebe sleeping together)
(A hammock full of ferries! Top to bottom: Flan, Panda, Phoebe... I think.)
(Flan and Phoebe in the tub. Phoebe really loves to swim around while Flan just enjoys floating lazily.)
(Sid and Panda in the tub. They either sit on their rumps the whole time or spend the whole time trying to jump out.)
(After bath excitement.~ Ignore my puppy fussing. He doesn't like the ferrets too well, so I had him in the crate. He gets really annoyed when the ferrets come skittering by his crate or look through the holes in the sides.)
