Just a slight observation....you mentioned mice, which is great then you mentioned only pinkies which isn't great. Pinkies have no real nutritional value. They're great teaching supplements, treats but they're not a good meal. I don't know if that had been taken into consideration but it was just something I noted ciao

@sherry, thank you. That is what I needed to know. @otter, I bought a cheap blender from Walmart. I throw the mice in whole. The only thing that sometimes has trouble getting chopped up is the tails. They sometimes wrap around and avoid the blades. However, if your ferret will eat it, the tail is basically a bunch of tiny bones. I leave the tail pieces in the soupie. @heaher, good point. My current ferts wont eat pinkies or whole adults. I've resoted to making soupie out of the adult frozen mice. I did have some luck getting them to eat tiny cubes of chicken meat, so I am considering trying to process this bunch into solid raw. I had to rehome my two pinkie eatters and my other ferret passed.
