wow 12 weeks ! jesus up in the north no vet anywhere will spey/neuter under 6 months of age with regard to the distemper vaccine there is non approved for ferrets in the uk which is why they simply give the cannine distemper vaccine ( mine get it once in there lifetime and once only ) I use frontline kitten / puppy spray simply because it is safe to use on the youngest of ferrets ( even kits ) its unusual for a jill to stay up and wide open during a phantom or pregnancy because this leaves her open to infection ( normally it shrinks down and goes flacid just slightly open ) its common for them to have leakage from the nipples and appear lumpy during a phantom or when in season some can even fill up with milk simply because they sense other females are pregnant or a male is near ! good luck with your little one take care bye for now Bev
