Yay! If you come in on Saturday, then you will be good as far as adoption officers go, Alison is the best person at picking fuzzies out for your little guy. On the phone questionaire Explain how he acts, what you are looking for, if you want multiples ect. If you know about the cancers and ECE and such, you are bound to be perfect for a ferret or two and a plus, you have a ferret nation. WE ENCOURAGE ferret nations the whole shelter is ferret nations!

I can't on Saturday, but I'm off Sunday through Tuesday. I'm not sure if I'll want to pick one out that fast, though. I didn't see a questionaire on the site, is it something they could/would email me? Ps. If you're free the day I end up going you should come too, meeting online friends in person is exciting!

Next Saturday night I have to work over night so if I do a Saturday it won't be for two weeks. We'll see though.

I think no matter where you adopt, make sure you can bring Remus in to meet the fuzz I really think he will find the right buddy

That's the plan. If I do adopt from GCFA I'm hoping I can just go the one time and find someone who will work. Multiple trips will get really expensive.

hehehe I went looking for one buddy for my Freya.....and got Marley and Soxx ;D I couldn't bear to break them up and that was before I knew the extent to which ferrets get bonded So glad I got them both. AND I weaseled the woman into giving me them for free...but I believe I have already told that story

Make sure to bring an extra carrier no matter what, don't want them fighting on the way back. I wouldn't worry about the car ride either, mine go to a vet that is almost 3 hours away, they conk out pretty quick.

Hey Rachel? What happens if he finds a really great buddy, but that buddy is also bonded to another? ??

Then I'll probably end up with three. I'd rather not though, because I'm not sure I could afford the vet for all three (I could do regular checkups and stuff but if an emergency came up we'd have a problem).
