So today I went to the store and spent about 80$ on food to last almost two weeks for the dogs. I still need to make their veggie patties though. And I also made soupies for the ferrets. The cats are going to stay on patties untill I fully convert my second cat. Then im going to work on chunks and bone. I had no issues dealing with the meat but after about 10 minutes with the liver the smell started getting to me . Hacking at the pork bone was a little tough. This is week two for the dogs in transition so Im bringing in a bit of pork to go with their chicken. The liver Is going in the freezer untill their ready to have organ which will be in a week or two. Fresh from the store hacking at the pork bone All bagged up Weighing the chicken hearts And soupies for the ferrets! Henrys meals portionned. The goal is to have one meal of bones and one of muscle meat. I want Henry to be 18 pounds(Hes 16) so Im giving him 7 oz of muscle meat and 1.5 oz of pork ribs this week. Esme is 11 pounds and im giving her 6 oz of muscle meat and 1 oz of pork ribs. Theill be getting the same for their veggie patties and once they start on organ two meals a week of 3.2 oz or so I dont have the sheet with me. I still dont know if I have this down right.

Dog ratio, from what I understand, is about 10% bone, 80% meat, 10% organ. Heart of course would be part of the meat ratio. Not certain what would be an average serving though
