So, if there are pony beads inside, then it is washable?
I wonder if the macaroni inside makes the difference...

I've never washed mine, or even tried to. I order on average a dozen or so a year, and just toss them when they start to become too worn.

I agree Ive always known it was macaroni inside and I cant wash them because they will hydrate and get gross. That never bothered me though mine don't get theirs gross thankfully. I don't know if its the smell of the macaroni or the sound they make but they really like them. I only have 2 left as a foster dog we had a year ago killed a bunch of them. Whenever I reorder more Ill get them with pasta. Sent from my SCH-M828C using ProBoards

If they do get mucky from the litter box, just dab them off with a damp cloth.

I wonder if the macaroni inside makes the difference... Riley, I put macaroni in one egg and pony beads in another and shook them near my ear and I could not tell any difference in the sound they make. And as Sherry suggested I enclose a note with each order to NOT submerge the eggs in water and instead spot clean them if they get dirty. What is the old saying about protecting ******* people from themselves?? So, if there are pony beads inside, then it is washable? By enclosing the pony beads in the eggs I was trying to get away from the possibility of the eggs getting tossed into water to wash them, the pasta getting wet in the process and ending up as one huge gross mess so the eggs would have to be tossed out, trying to head off trouble before it came my way.

Ainslie goes crazy if she smells mac and cheese. So i wondered. By enclosing the pony beads in the eggs I was trying to get away from the possibility of the eggs getting tossed into water to wash them, the pasta getting wet in the process and ending up as one huge gross mess so the eggs would have to be tossed out, trying to head off trouble before it came my way. Okay so still not washable. I'll supervise her with the eggs then, so it doesn't go in the litterbox.
