HOW EASY IT IS TO SWITCH A KIT!!!! Dark chocolate is already chewing chicken gizzards (in a mushy soup with freeze dried lamb and pork chunks). She also discovered the feeding den, and is actually using it (unlike my other two, who REMOVE food from the feeding den to stash under the couch. Even though she bit the crap outta me earlier, I forgive her because she is being so easy to switch ;D

NOW SHE'S EATING CHICKEN WING CHUNKS! WITH BONE! *Dies of happiness/shock/disbelief* It was in the feeding den from this morning. She walked right in, picked up a huge piece, and starting chewing on it.

This switch is going to be a piece of cake Now all I have to worry about is nip and potty training the little thing. She has already 1) made me bleed and 2) pooped on my bed Koda is soooo cute! No wonder you picked him!

hehe yes. I knew he was perfect the instant I saw him. It was love at first sight. And your little "Dixie" (*aheeeem* it rhyymes! ) sounds like Kenai. he has been a challenge to potty train and STILL has issues. He seems to have "forgotten" how to use the litter box at Shane's house.

That's the nice thing about most kits, not so imprinted on kibble and with a natural instinct to chew and eat meat. Awesome that she is taking to it so fast, makes it so much easier!

But tiny, I wonder how young she really was... I know!!!! Good thing I can't get my hands on any unaltered ferrets up here! I might be in trouble then as I would desitre a constant supply of babies! And goodness knows I could never adopt them out! ;D ;D ;D

Awww. Koda was an adorable kit. My ferret Aleister looked like him when he was a baby.
