Laying on those golf wiffle balls keeps them cool I suppose, we are still in the mid 90s outside and we get about mid-high 70s inside. My room is 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the house due to my electronics so it can get hot in here. I'm sure they both will be sleeping in the fluffy satin sheets come fall/winter.

I love the ferret portraits. Who did you have sketch them? I would like to have some made of my babies.

Our ferrets have a room where they sleep in their cages but they free roam around the flat when awake, so everything is theirs. So many rooms too see here and great ideas!

I hope it is ok if I continue here with some photos of my ferret room: I'm necro'ing an old thread but does anyone know what the yellow tubes in this picture are? I can only ever find black ones and as a person that loves color I find this type to be much more apealing.

Drooling over everyone's ferret rooms. I can't wait to get a house with a room dedicated to them!

I'm sorry for beeing so late in my reply, as I had used only the proboards app for the forum it didn't show me the quoted threads notofication! -.- Those are drainage pipes, used usually for construction. If you are crafty, you could color them with car finish. I did some short pieces in different colors. It is still on my to do list for the pipes in the outdoor enclosure, but I'll wait until I'm settled with the setup and then decide which color(s) to go with

Are lots of levels like that safe? I've been eyeing up the carpetted multi-layer cat furniture at our local petstore, but I was worried that someone would fall and hurt themself.

I don't use multi level cat posts because I have a couple who tried to take the more direct route from the top lol

I have a very special ferret, and his balance just so happens to be terrible. I won't even put levels in my cage. I'd feel safer connecting tubes to the wall and let them have a go at that, so that's in future plans.

These are all amazing! I'm so jealous! My ferret room is also my living room. I have a large baby fence and gate to block the into the open concept area. The walls around are half walls that will soon be plexiglassed to keep them from jumping over when I move my couch there. I hope to soon have everything together so I can take pictures. I see this thread hasn't been used in a while. I would love to see any new rooms and updates! So many ideas!
